Results from the 2008 Economic Essay Contest

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2008 Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Essay Contest. There were more than 200 entries from 86 different cities within the Tenth District of the Federal Reserve Bank. The essay topic was The Road Ahead: Economic Paths for My Future. Many students demonstrated through their essays how they are making plans for their future and understand how economic and financial choices can affect their lives. Each office in the seven-state District chose their top three winners; among those, a grand prize winner was chosen for the District. The winners are:
