Visitor Information
The Money Museum is available for walk-in visitors and self-guided tours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Bank holidays. No reservations are necessary, and a photo ID is required for visitors 18 years of age and older. There is no admission charge.

Guided tours are available for 5th grade-level groups and above, including students, educators, bankers, community organizations and the general public. Guided tours are free of charge, but reservations are required.

• Available days: Monday through Friday, excluding Bank holidays
• Available tour times: 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
• Tour length: 1 hour
• Group size requirements: 5 to 40 individuals per tour group (smaller groups may be added to a larger existing group)
• Reservations: Required two weeks in advance by completing an online request form or calling (816) 881-2683
• Preparation: A list of all tour guests (including first and last name) who are 18 or older must be submitted at least one week prior to your confirmed tour date. This list can be submitted via email to KCtours@kc.frb.org or phone by calling (816) 881-2683 or (816) 881-2680.
• Cost: Free

Security

All guests who are 18 years of age or older are required to bring government issued photo identification. Guests will undergo security screening upon arrival. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your tour start time to allow for the screening process. Firearms, explosives, hazardous materials, lethal weapons, illegal drugs, and any other dangerous items, including pocket knives, are prohibited on Bank premises. Metal detectors and x-ray equipment are used to enforce this policy. Any person entering and any purse, briefcase, or other items brought on the premises are subject to being scanned and/or physically inspected. For security reasons, guests are prohibited from taking photographs of security equipment, personnel or Cash operations.

Arriving at the Museum

The Kansas City Fed is at 1 Memorial Drive, located on the west side of Main Street and south of the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri. Public parking is available near the north entrance to the Bank.

• Vehicles may park in the visitors' lot, which is located near the Bank's north entrance. A circle drive is also available as a loading and unloading zone.
• All guests must enter and exit through the Federal Reserve Bank's north entrance on Memorial Drive.
• All guests must inform the guard stationed at the entrance of their organization's name, the number of individuals in their party and their reason for entering the Bank (e.g. guided tour or self-guided tour of lobby exhibits).
• After the screening process, guests scheduled for a guided tour may store all of their purses, bags, electronic devices, etc. in the designated storage areas in the lobby.
• Restrooms, a drinking fountain and a telephone are located in the Bank's lobby.
