Visitors with Special Needs

Accessible parking is available in our visitor parking lot for guests with valid Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) disability parking placards or license plates. Guests may also be dropped off at our circle drive, located directly in front of our visitor entrance. 

Our visitor entrance and museum is accessible on the first floor on the main level of the Bank.

X-ray screening and metal detection is required for all visitors. Screenings may take several minutes depending on the flow of visitor traffic. United States residents over the age of 18 are required to provide a valid government-issued ID (ex. driver’s license). All international guests are required to show a valid passport. Some accommodations can be made if your group has guests over the age of 18 without a valid ID.

Guests Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
All self-guided virtual experiences are accessible for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. Printed copies of our audio tour can be provided upon request. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters can be provided for guided tours. All guided tours must be reserved 15 days in advance.

Guests with Mobility Disabilities
Courtesy wheelchairs are available at the visitor entrance. Contact us if you require a wheelchair during your visit or have questions regarding wheelchair availability.

Guests With Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)
Our museum has low-lighting and limited noise distractions. The museum offers several interactive hands-on exhibits. iPads for the Quest for the Lost Vault are also available for check out. A quiet area for guests with SPD can be provided upon request.

Guests Who Are Blind or Have Low Vision
Braille informational brochures are available to take for free.  Accommodations for guided tours can be made for guests who are blind or have low vision. All guided tours must be reserved 15 days in advance.
