Applications Being Accepted: Community Development Advisory Council
To fill anticipated Community Development Advisory Council (CDAC) vacancies, applications are being accepted from community, banking, and labor leaders in Kansas and western Missouri for the 2019 - 2021 term. Those working in the areas of digital inclusion, small business and housing are encouraged to apply.
The CDAC is comprised of community, banking and labor leaders from throughout the Tenth Federal Reserve District: Colorado, Kansas, western Missouri, Nebraska, northern New Mexico, Oklahoma and Wyoming. Council members serve a three-year term and are expected to attend two meetings per year, typically held in the spring and fall. Travel expenses are reimbursed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City established the CDAC in 2001 to provide Bank leaders a deeper understanding of the community and economic development issues impacting low- and moderate-income communities. CDAC members also receive updates on the national and regional economies and provide feedback on the Bank's community development research, programs and resources. Information on current CDAC members can be found here.
Applications are due 5:00 p.m. CST Friday, August 31, 2018 and are available here. The 2019 council members will be announced in January.
