The collection of cultivators, ambassadors and innovators is a who’s who of familiar names across the startup, entrepreneurship and tech communities. Dell Gines, of the Bank’s Community Development team, was listed as an “Ambassador,” on the 2018 list. Techweek staff shared, “it’s a celebration of fast-growing companies, prominent investors, key enablers of the digital ecosystem, creators of new technologies, and other innovators that make important contributions to their field.” External LinkThe announcement was published last week via Startland News. As one of the 25 named Ambassadors, Techweek officials felt Gines and others in this category are founders, influencers, and prominent voices who act as positive representatives for the tech community. External LinkTechweek 100 honorees have displayed the following characteristics, according to the selection committee for the list: originality, prominence, growth, gumption, and pertinence. The annual Techweek Kansas City event series is set to return Oct. 8-12 with External Linknational tech, venture capital, nonprofit and blockchain leaders among the speaker lineup. Gines will participate in Techweek’s External LinkOct. 10 programming dedicated to diversity and inclusion.
