Biography

Kyle Arganbright joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Omaha Branch Board of Directors in 2025.

Mr. Arganbright is the president of Sandhills State Bank, a locally-owned, rural, community bank which he co-founded. He is also co-founder of Bolo Beer Co. and a partner in The Dam Ranch, a family-owned commercial cow-calf ranching operation.

Mr. Arganbright has served twelve years on the Valentine City Council, ten as Mayor. During this time, he’s helped lead several community initiatives including a new community college campus, a new public golf course, a public-private partnership to build-out world-class fiberoptic internet, a complete Main Street reconstruction, and meaningful infrastructure investments, all while maintaining some of the lowest property tax and electrical rates in Nebraska.

Mr. Arganbright represents rural Nebraska on several statewide boards including the Board of Directors of the Platte Institute for Economic Research, the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Aksarben Foundation.

A fifth-generation resident of Valentine, Nebraska, Kyle is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the Colorado Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife, Amy, have two daughters.
